In Poker, players can establish a special fund called a “kitty” by cutting a low-denomination chip from each pot after more than one player has raised. The kitty belongs to all players equally and is used to purchase new cards and food during the game. The remaining kitty chips are split among the players who are still in the game. Players who leave before the end of the game are not entitled to receive a share of the kitty.

In poker, players make bets on the value of their hands. The player who has the highest valued hand wins. Poker hands are composed of five cards, and the value of each one is inversely proportional to its mathematical frequency. Players can make bets based on the value of their hands or bluff, betting that they have the best hand and hope that another player will match the bet.
